ENG-Builder

A (scriptable) tool to create the ENGDAT „Abstract“ file and rename all attached files to be ready for transmission.

It is fully VDA4951 v 2.3 compliant.

If you are looking for something that does the task right out of the box, this might be the wrong tool for you because it needs some serious configuration tasks.

Documentation is added in form of the complete “Software Requirements Specification” file in the “documentation” folder.

You could also try to add the /h parameter to get the help screen.

If you find bugs please add them to the tracker.

I added a simple editor for configuration files because edit them manually could be a difficult task. It’s pretty self explaining if you are common with the configuration files syntax. (Please note that items on the EFC tab could be removed by editing them and update with an empty extension field).
